2020 isn’t likely to have been a great year for many businesses. We've used this time to try and work out how to go into 2021 with a business plan that keeps us surviving, making great records and producing all sorts of creative audio projects. We’re going to be talking about everything in more detail over the next couple of months as there's too much to go into in one post. The big news we’ve been itching to tell people is that our studio is moving to an exciting new home.

As you may have seen from our previous blog post, we are currently in the process of saying goodbye to the building that has been our home for the past 15yrs! We wanted to go out on a high note, fill the last month here with recording work and close this chapter by doing what we do best. Sadly, as it stands, another national lockdown will make that unlikely.
Like many businesses, we're working out what the future looks like and how we can safely get back to helping you make great sounds. This is going to be a long process and there is still no way to accommodate groups of performers yet, but it's a start.

Over the past 2-3 months, we’ve kept our doors closed (and handles sterilised) to performers and it’s been odd to not have musicians milling in and out of our studio over that time. However, the work certainly hasn’t stopped, so over the next few weeks, I’d like to create from posts going over a few things I’ve experienced regarding what Audio Work looks like when we aren’t all in the same spaces.
Musicians have always dealt with the financial struggles of an unpredictable income. We're resilient, adaptable and creative by nature. We will need to be even more so if we are to navigate the uncertainty ahead. Our thoughts are with all the musicians, businesses and fans who have been at the heart of our community.
